Vanessa Evans has been on dialysis for over 28 years and lives in Boston, MA with
her husband and two sons. A passionate advocate for the last 20 years, Vanessa does
not let her diagnosis slow her down. She works full-time as the Director if Advocacy of
Advocacy and Communities for FMCNA. Vanessa has a Master’s degree from Emerson
College and a BA in Political Science from University of Massachusetts’s, Amherst. She
has presented for many organizations including: NKF, PCORI, ANNA, AAKP, FDA and
HHS. She is considered an expert in patient experience and engagement.
