Dr. Voiculescu is an Associate Physician of the Renal Division at MassGeneralBrigham, Boston where she is working as a General and Interventional Nephrologist. She is the Clinical Chief of Renal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. In addition, she is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.
She is Board Certified in Medicine and Nephrology, Certified for Vascular Access Procedures, and in Renal, Vascular Access and Renal Artery/Vein evaluation with ultrasound and Doppler. She serves as the Chair of the ASDIN Ultrasound committee and is serving as a member of the Council of ASDIN. In addition, she is a member of the ASN Transforming Dialysis Access Together (TDAT) working group.
She has done extensive clinical research specifically in regard to the application of ultrasound and Doppler in the field of vascular disease in renal patients.
Her focus lies in patient care and teaching with emphasis on integrating tools of imaging and treatment with profound understanding of hemodynamics and flow. In addition, she is passionate about improving dialysis access care for patients with chronic kidney disease.
